The hard hitting female fronted darkedged hard rock artists GRIGORI 3, have showed absolutely no mercy on their audiences since their emergence in the Chicago scene the past few years. GRIGORI 3 has been enchanting audiences with some of the most powerful mind crunching music in the country. The band credits its strength to its ability to blend the diverse influences each member brings to their sound. Where other groups simply write songs, GRIGORI 3 composes and then delivers intensely energetic riffs and melodies, encapsulated in a captivating show often described as "amazing".
Although the band only recently released their debut album “Exile.” GRIGORI 3 credits it’s young success to it’s inclusion on Gothicradio.com’s compilation release- ”The Best Of GothicRadio,Vol.1” early into the band’s career. The band's song was chosen from just over 1500 submissions for inclusion on the disc, which vaulted them into retailers ( including Hot Topics, FYE and Tower Records)around the nation and open doors to reviews as well as features in numerous publications.
The independent Chicago based band has been working their way up to the top of the Underground Alternative music scene.The band's ability to cross genres has enabled GRIGORI 3 to perform with numerous national acts.Their music has been featured at various clubs and festivals throughout the Midwest including: House of Blues (Chicago),The Pearl Room and the famed Emerson Theatre (Indianapolis.)The band has showcased at various industry festivals including Gothic Fest, Mobfest and MMS. The band has proved their LIVE strength time and again performing live with various national acts including; Slick Idiot , Project 44, Dry Kill Logic, MushroomHead, Sonata Arctica, Hanzel Und Gretyl ,Bile, Crossbreed among others.
GRIGORI 3 ‘s slogan ” you WILL listen…” has begun to grab industry ears as well due to it’s online presence which continues to grow due to numerous online streaming sites such as jamwave, I Channel, You tube and myspace.com, (which credits the band at over 35,000 song plays and over 4,000 friends.) Internet radio and club play lists nationwide have continued to embrace the band’s music and add GRIGORI 3 into regular rotation. A vast number of radio stations world wide have begun including GRIGORI 3 music into bumper music and regular rotation since the band teamed up with Planetary Group which helped the band get a foot hold in the radio industry- charting numerous college, internet stations and finally voicing thier sound on mainstream stations around the world. The band's hometown radio Chicago's (Q101,Fearless Radioand Rebel Radio helped from the start and contiuously suuport the bands endevors.)Their music spans the globe through various internet channels like IPM, ESPN,Panama's Siete Gatos, Japan’s JP Goth and Germany’s Black Channel.
Only recently, GRIGORI 3 independently released their debut album “EXILE “ which has helped the band gain selective national press throughout the music scene including, METAL HAMMER, Gothic Beauty, Echo Immortalis, Virus, Lollipop, Dark Realms , MK and Outburn,Roczine magazines. The band teamed up with New York Times bestselling author Michael Stadther (A Treasure’s Trove) for their upcoming video "THINK ME WICKED"(Resurrection M. Pictures) which is expected to release in 2008.
GRIGORI 3 recently streamlined and upgraded their live performance experience and now touring the Midwest and pivotal major cities throughout the country to support their debut album “EXILE.” The band can also be found hard at work writing their sophomore release.
